In 2024, Bangladesh Social Service (BSS) made staff capacity building a central focus to strengthen organizational growth and enhance program effectiveness. Over 65 staff members across different levels participated in targeted training programs aimed at boosting their knowledge, skills, and professionalism. Key sessions on project planning, design, implementation, and reporting equipped staff with practical tools to improve project management and delivery. A comprehensive training on Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reflection fostered a culture of accountability and continuous learning throughout the organization. To ensure inclusivity, BSS held specialized workshops on gender equity and disability inclusion, preparing staff to serve all community members with respect and fairness. Life Skills-Based Education and Development sessions enhanced interpersonal communication and community engagement strategies among staff. Strategic Development Training aligned mid- and senior-level staff with BSS’s long-term vision and mission, promoting cohesive leadership. An annual performance development process encouraged reflection, feedback, and professional growth, motivating staff to excel. These initiatives have significantly improved staff competence and fostered a mission-driven, motivated workforce. Looking ahead, BSS plans to continue investing in human resource development through advanced training and mentorship programs, ensuring sustainable growth and high-quality, inclusive services across all its programs.
